President’s Message – IAMM Rajasthan Chapter

Dear Members,

It is both an honour and a privilege to be entrusted with the responsibility of leading the Rajasthan Chapter of the Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists (IAMM-RC). I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the members, past Presidents, and the Executive Committee for placing their trust in me. I am committed to living up to your expectations and furthering the legacy of excellence that our chapter has always stood for.

Under the able leadership of past Presidents and the continued efforts of our dynamic team, including Dr. R.K.Maheshwari, Dr. Bharti Malhotra, Dr. Rajni Sharma, Dr. Yogesh Gupta, and many others, we have witnessed remarkable growth in our activities. Our ongoing initiatives, such as   various CMEs, workshops, teaching programs have consistently attracted budding Microbiologists and young researchers, providing them with valuable opportunities for learning and professional growth. I am confident that, with your support, we will continue to build on this strong foundation.

Our chapter is also gearing up for exciting upcoming events, including the highly anticipated State Conference scheduled for September 2025 in Jaipur. Led by a talented and experienced team, including Dr. Rajni Sharma, Dr. R.K. Mishra and Dr. Aruna Vyas, I am sure that this conference will surpass all expectations. The first brochure has already been shared, and I encourage each of you to participate in large numbers and make it a grand success.

As the President, I warmly welcome any suggestions or ideas that you may have to help us improve our activities, enhance our website, and organize state conferences more effectively. Your feedback is essential for us to better serve the Medical Microbiology community and ensure the continued growth and success of our association.

I look forward to engaging with each of you in the months to come and seeing you all at the conference in the Pink City. Together, let’s continue to uphold the standards of excellence in Medical Microbiology and make a lasting impact in the field.
