Secretary’s message – IAMM Rajasthan Chapter

Dear Colleagues,

It is a matter of great satisfaction to present the second edition of the IAMM‑Rajasthan Chapter (IAMM‑RC) newsletter. The encouraging response to our inaugural issue reaffirmed The importance of this platform in keeping our microbiology community connected, informed, and academically engaged.

Over the past year, our chapter has continued its commitment to academic excellence through CMEs, scientific sessions and workshops that bridge laboratory research with clinical practice. These activities have provided valuable opportunities for both faculty and postgraduate students to learn, collaborate and showcase their work.

The highlight of our upcoming academic calendar is RAJMICROCON 2026, the 5th Annual State Chapter Conference, hosted by the Department of Microbiology, Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur, which reflects the growing importance of translating laboratory findings into meaningful clinical decisions in modern healthcare.

This newsletter continues to serve as a record of our achievements and a platform for sharing innovative ideas. I encourage all members, especially our young microbiologists, to actively contribute and strengthen this growing legacy.

I sincerely thank our President, Executive Committee and the Editorial Team for their continued support and dedication in bringing out this edition.

I look forward to welcoming you all to RAJMICROCON 2026 in the Pink City for another enriching year of learning and collaboration.

Warm regards,
Dr. R.K. Mishra
Secretary, IAMM Rajasthan Chapter
